Gillian Probert found her way into modeling almost by surprise, an unexpected extension of her lifelong creativity and love of physical expression. Having grown up playing sports and finding joy in dance and yoga, movement was always a natural language for her. While studying photography in college, she began turning the camera toward herself, discovering that self-portraiture allowed her to merge art and embodiment in a deeply personal way. After graduating, Gillian’s photography was exhibited in several shows, including FemArt Gallery, The Werk Gallery, Artmosphere, and The Neilsen Center for Visual Arts, among others. As she began showing her work alongside other photographers, collaboration came naturally, and modeling became another form of her artistry. Today, Gillian explores the female form in organic, expressive, and often abstract ways—contorting her body into fluid, almost unrecognizable shapes that challenge conventional notions of beauty and presence. Through modeling, she continues to explore the intersection of movement, identity, and art, using her own form as both subject and medium.
