Gillian Probert
Gillian Probert is a multimedia artist originally from San Diego. She moved to Florida to earn degrees in Visual Arts and Business Management from Eckerd College in 2023, where she founded the Artists for Impact collegiate chapter to create opportunities for emerging artists while raising funds for local nonprofits.
In 2023, Gillian launched her art business, Moonlit Creations, and was selected as one of Florida CraftArt’s Emerging Artists. Her work has since been exhibited at The Factory, The Chihuly Collection, The Morean Arts Center, Creative Pinellas, and more. Working across glass, ceramic, and non-toxic resin, Gillian explores her deep connection to nature. This passion has also inspired community projects centered around creativity and conservation, including SWARM, a project featuring real, ethically collected honey bees that helped raise funds for The Nature Conservancy.
Gillian currently serves as curator at Duncan McClellan Gallery, where she has developed her practice in blown and carved glass. In 2026, she was chosen as one of the Morean Arts Center’s Fresh Squeezed 10 Emerging Artists for her blown and carved glass vessels, which explore animal mimicry through a surreal lens.
Drawing from animal icons and natural materials, her work reveals hidden connections in the natural world.
