Serpent's Dance, Blown and Sand-Carved Glass, 12h x 6w x 6d in, Sold

This vessel tells the story of a hummingbird being chased by a snake through the jungle. The snake thinks it has found its next meal until it discovers that it has become tangled in vines as the hummingbird leads an evasive dance. I drew my design on vinyl tape, coating the vessel, and then used a sandblaster to carve the design into the glass.
